More than just a calendar girl

talent and wit can help. But more than all these, the Tanduay Calendar
Girl must have that inner glow that shines forth and grows on you day
after day.
That's Renee Summer, Tanduay's Calendar Girl for 2006. Among many
candidates, Renee captures the essence of beauty which Tanduay looks for
in an image model. A lovely face as sultry as summer and a come-on look
that can melt your heart on a cold rainy day. Renee is only 20 years
old, stands at 5'6" and measures a near-perfect 35-24-35.
But beyond her sexy looks, Tanduay was impressed by her frankness and
avid determination to succeed as a versatile actress.

Renne comes from a quiet town in Batangas and ventured
into the city to seek stardom. "I know I look pretty and
I've got talents. I don't want to waste all these
goodness in the province. I want the world to appreciate
me better," she declares during the final interview for
candidates.
She was only 16 when she went to Manila, not just to get
any job which her looks could fetch, but to start a
career in showbiz. |

"Since I was a little girl, I already wanted to be
famous. But I didn't want to attain stardom just like
that. I'm focused. I made plans to get what I want."
On her own, Renee went through a lot of training,
developing skills, sharpening her talents, hard though
they maybe. She became a fashion model, a photographer's
delight, until an enterprising producer who had been
looking for fresh and new faces saw her potentials and
immediately casted her as leading lady of the movie "Paraiso,"
which was shown in April 2005. The movie put her on the
road and the blooming of Summer began. New movie offers
are coming in and Renee is now building a name for
herself, something she always dreamed of.
"It's a big honor to be Tanduay's Calendar Girl," Renee
declares. "I am proud to represent a world-class company
which has been in existence for more than 150 years and
continues to provide the masses with quality products at
very reasonable prices."
She admits that being a calendar girl is a big break in
her career. She follows in the footsteps of Assunta de
Rossi, Katya Santos and the Viva Hotbabes. As calendar
girl, Renee appeared in various sexy poses for the many
brands of Tanduay. She will also have various personal
appearances in Tanduay's promotional events. (PNS)
