An Interview with Angela Velez

Q: How does the image you project on camera affect the real you?

Angela: People misinterpret me most of the time. They see me as suplada and maldita, which I'm not. Pero gusto ko na rin 'yon kasi ibig sabihin effective and acting ko.

Q: Is being a star one of your greatest dreams?

Angela: Yes, but I didn't expect that I'll be able to reach this point. I'm happy kasi kahit papaano nakikilalala na ako ng mga tao.


Q: What was the biggest step you ever took to realize your
dream of becoming a star?

Angela: At first parang laro lang, then I joined MTB. Every
Monday lang ako dun noon. After eight months with MTB, I decided to develop my acting talent kaya nag-decide ako to enroll in the acting workshop sa CCAI (ABS-CBN Center for Communication Arts, Inc.)

Q: How exactly were you discovered?

Angela: I got an offers two months after the workshop. Right now I'm with MTB and Home Along Da Riles. Tapos, hopefully, matuloy yung isang soap opera this year where I'll be one of the mainstays. Abangan niyo na lang.
